How it works
We assign you an estate consultant who stays with the job from the first call to the last load. They help you sort what stays, what goes to family, what gets donated, and what gets hauled — and they will catch the loose ends people usually forget until it is too late.
Anything usable goes to Goodwill. Anything recyclable is recycled. If there are items you want to sell rather than donate, tell us and we will set them aside instead.
If you live out of state
About a third of the families we work with are not in Michigan. They are settling a parent's estate from somewhere else, often on a deadline, often without being able to get here more than once.
We can handle the entire cleanout with you on the phone — walkthrough by video, photographs of anything we are unsure about, and a final walkthrough before we close it up.
What it costs and how long
Most full estate cleanouts run between $3,000 and $8,000 and take two to four days. What moves the number is the size of the home, how much is in it, and how much has to be sorted rather than hauled.
We bring a 30-yard dumpster that is driveway safe, and labor and dump fees are built into the quote. No permit is required. We take a payment down up front and the balance when the job is complete.
The on-site estimate is free and the price we give you is the price.
After the house is empty
We can deep clean the property so it is ready to list, and handle minor repairs if the house needs them before it goes on the market.
